ORDERS
You are responsible for checking and confirming that you are satisfied that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements, including specifications, measurements, dimensions, product features, access and delivery.

To be eligible to purchase products on this website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this website under English law you must: be over 18 years of age; register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information; provide a valid delivery address in the United Kingdom mainland; (Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and temporary accommodation addresses are not acceptable); and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.

Please note that any acceptance of an order placed from outside the United Kingdom mainland including any of the Isles or Ireland will not be valid. Please contact us directly via info@glasshouseimports.com to discuss alternative means of payment and delivery charges since we do welcome your business!

An order acknowledgement email will be sent to you detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is merely an acknowledgement of your order and not an acceptance or confirmation of your order by GlassHouseImports.

The acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch of the products unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

Once we have accepted your order it becomes binding, subject to your rights of cancellation. Non-acceptance of an order by us will occur if: the ordered product is out of stock or unavailable; we identify a pricing or product description error; we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment; customers fail to reach any order criteria set out in the Terms & Conditions.

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by us either by email or by phone.

MEASUREMENTS
It is your responsibility to ensure that furniture from us will pass freely through doorways. Be aware of any restricted passageways, stairs and awkward corners or turns. All of our products have clear height, width and depth measurements and are always displayed in this order on our website. Should you find our furniture does not fit through your access ways, we will not be able to refund you your postage.

PAYMENT METHODS
Payment for all orders is at point of sale and not at point of dispatch. Prices are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system and include delivery charges unless otherwise stated.

You may pay using Visa Credit, UK Visa Debit, UK Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, UK Maestro and Solo Cards. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours.

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND UNIQUE FEATURES
All measurements are approximate. Please allow +/- 2 cm variance on sizes stated. All our Furniture products are individually hand crafted and hand finished and there may be differences between batches. These will be more apparent if orders are placed at different times. We reserve the right to make any change to the internal specifications of our products or minor external changes where necessary.

BESPOKE ITEMS
Bespoke items will be commissioned specially for you. You will receive (in some instances where it is necessary) a sketch and/ or photographs from which your piece will be made. Please sign it and return it to us immediately so we can progress with your order. Should you wish to contact us in order not to delay your item then you may email us your confirmation and follow up by posting out the confirmation form to us. You may cancel your order at no cost before you sign your confirmation, however, any cancellations after you have signed the confirmation will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

RIGHT TO CANCEL
Products purchased exclusively via distance communication may be cancelled or returned at any time up to 7 working days after the day on which product was received by informing us via email within that period that you wish to do so. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract prior to order dispatch, please contact us first via info@glasshouseimports.com . If the product has already been dispatched or delivered it must be kept in perfect condition for collection by you.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
On delivery you are responsible for checking products carefully, any visible defects must be reported to Customer Services immediately. We will not accept liability for visible defects not reported within 2 days from receipt of delivery.

In the unlikely event of there being any damage a picture must be taken and emailed to info@glasshouseimports.com. If you are unable to send a photograph of the damage please arrange to return the goods at your expense. It is imperative you keep the damaged item in its packaging. If you fail to meet these terms we will be unable to issue a refund or replacement.

Subsequently if you believe any of our products to be of an unsatisfactory quality, please contact us via the above email address and we will advise you how to proceed. Please treat the product with utmost care while your claim is being investigated.

AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

WEBSITE CONTENT
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
